Northwest

  • Elsie Perrin Williams Estate
    The estate can be hired for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The estate has sprawling grounds which offer a park-like and wooded settings for outdoor photography, and the main building is formal and filled with columns, leaded glass, antique furniture and hardwood.

  • Grosvenor Lodge
    The lodge is situated at the back of a wooded parklike lawn, and it's often a site used for receptions and ceremonies. A screen of dense tress offers beautiful backdrops.

  • UWO
    The university offers many unique options for photography, including the wonderful towers and steeples, wooded areas, the bridge and walkways and lots of ivy covered bricks.

  • Mount St.Joseph's
    Tucked away you'll find shady paths in the woods, footbridges, an overlook on a lazy bend on the Thames river and a stone grotto. Magical!

  • Gibbons Park
    This riverside park is a popular photo location. It offers all kinds of benches, shade and wooded areas, and has some unique features like a footbridge. Lots of parking.

    Northeast

  • Fanshawe Park
    The park at Fanshawe Lake has lots of grassy areas and woods.

    Central and Downtown

  • River Forks
    A city landmark, here you can find paths, benches, playgrounds and monuments, with several scenic views and lots of interesting architecture.

  • Art Gallery
    Concrete, steel and sculptures.

  • Old Courthouse
    A classic photo location is the front lawn of the courthouse.

  • Victoria Park
    Broad paths, monuments and benches. Lit at night, with views of the downtown skyline and nearby shelter for cold weather or inclement weather.

  • Peace Park
    Formally planted flower garden, footbridge, arbours and arches, benches and walls. Spring blooms.

  • Eldon House
    A heritage property, has flower gardens and trees that blossom in the spring. Covered veranda, gazebo and beautiful gardens.

    Southwest

  • Springbank Park
    Includes Storybook Gardens and a wide variety of shelters, parking, trees, woods and benches. The arboretum is available.

  • Rose Gardens
    Has a glass greenhouse for rainy days, lots of formal gardens and planting beds, and a wooded pathway.

  • Reservoir Park
    A gazebo, pathways and a lookout.

    Southeast

  • Westminster Ponds
    Woods and pathways, ponds.

  • Gardens behind Parkwood Hospital
    Flower beds, monument, bridges and trees.

  • Meadowlily Woods
    Woods and trails
